Inclusive Dance Classes
The Dance Academy Inclusive provides a safe environment and equal opportunity for individuals with disabilities to participate in dance classes that promote social interaction and the development of gross motor, coordination and balance skills.
We serve individuals ages 2-21
ALL genders and ability levels are welcome
Spring participants will have the opportunity to perform one routine in the TDA annual recital on May 18th at Missouri Theatre.
Class times include structured activities for social skills and dance ability development
Inclusive 1: Wednesdays 6:30pm-7:00pm
Inclusive 2: Wednesdays 7:00pm-7:30pm
First class starts January 28th!
Teachers & Student Instructors:
Bailey Baucum: Bailey Baucum is a hip hop and leaps & turns teacher at TDA. She will graduate in May of 2019 from MIZZOU with a degree in occupational therapy. Bailey worked as the Agape intern at The Crossing Church and has work with inclusive dance teams since she was a sophomore in college.
Olivia Zacharias: Olivia Zacharias is a senior at Rockbridge High School and has been dancing for 15 years. She is currently an advanced dancer on the TDA competition team. Olivia is planning on going to college for a degree in education and has taken a recent interest in special education.
