Sammy Baker Weise

Sammy Baker Weise, a graduate of Central Methodist University with a double major in Child Development and Psychology, proudly calls Columbia, MO her hometown. With over twenty years of dancing experience, Sammy has showcased her skills and competed in renowned cities such as New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, and LA, amassing numerous awards along the way. She was honored with the Teacher of the Year Award at Tribute's National Dance Competition in 2017, a testament to her genuine passion for dance and dedication to her students.

Sammy's commitment to dance education is evident in her seven-year tenure at The Academy of Fine Arts, where she played a pivotal role as an instructor. Additionally, she served as the Head Coach for Hickman High School's Dance Team for five years. Currently, Sammy holds the positions of Owner and Director at TDA, where she not only teaches tap classes but also plays a significant role in the competition program. Whether in the classroom or behind the front desk, you can always find Mrs. Sammy, as her unwavering presence reflects her dedication to the art and the success of her students.
